Weekly wages decreased over the last month from $902.08 per week a decrease of 2.8%.
A year ago, the average hours worked was 42.3 hourse per week, which is an increase of 0.2%. Hourly wages have increased over the last year from $20.13 per hour, an increase of 2.7%. Weekly wages have increased over the last year from $851.50 per week, an increase of 2.9%.

The unemployment rate increased in July, 2019 from 4.1% to this months' 4.3%. A year ago the unemployment rate was 4.4%, 0.1% lower today. The total workforce in July, 2019 was 2,068,217, which is 0.1% higher than last months 2,067,177 and is 0.1% higher than last years 2,064,782. The total number of unemployed in Kentucky is 88,079 as compared to the revised figure from last month of 84,941 and 90,970 unemployed a year ago.
